About Me

Based in Encinitas, CA, I am a business builder and executive who truly loves the process of starting companies and watching them grow. Over a 25-year career, I’ve had the firsthand experience of founding three companies from the ground up: Adept Resources (an accounting and financial staffing firm), AccountingJobsToday (an online job search marketplace), and Resume2Hire (a professional resume building, tech-enabled service). My approach to business has always been simple: you have to show up, follow up, and bring a scrappy, hard-working mindset to everything you do. That basic commitment is what helped me turn early ideas into real, lasting business successes.

Following the acquisition of Resume2Hire, I stepped into the role of Executive Vice President and Head of Global Partnerships for TopResume and Career.io, where I ran the GTM strategy and partner distribution channels. By focusing on building real relationships instead of just closing quick deals, I put together more than 500 partnerships that reached over 35 million users annually. These relationships brought in over 80% of our yearly revenue, leading to a successful $100M PE exit in December 2020.

Today, I am using what I've learned over the years to focus on a new chapter as a strategic advisor and mentor to Founders, CEOs, and Senior Leadership building their own platforms. My goal is to help the next generation of leaders clear away distractions, navigate future scaling challenges, and move from strategy to growth much faster.

My personal life is just as active and balanced as my work. I am a regular runner, practice yoga and meditation, and love traveling the world. Outside of my advisory work, I am lucky to share my life with my wife and two adult children. They inspire me every day and remind me why I love the journey of building things that matter.
